Trail of Treats! You're invited to the Trail of Treats!

Date: Saturday, 10/26/19
Time 1-3pm
Where: Parker Middle School
Admission Price: $3 per child
All proceeds will benefit Parker Middle School's PBIS program. Sponsored by the 8th Grade Advisors. **Must be 12 or younger to attend and must be accompanied by an adult.

PTSA Halloween Fun Night! Friday, October 25th, 5-8pm the PTSA will be hosting Halloween fun night for all middle school grades.

They will have a Dj and Bouncy obstacle course in the middle school gyms.
Food and drink to purchase in the gym lobby. Smith's hot dogs, chips, candy, water and Gatorade.
Entry to the event is $5 for non ptsa members, $3 for members. and free for students who joined at Meet the teacher night. (PTSA will have a list) There will be a costume contest, so students are encouraged to dress up.
Waivers can be found online or in the office, every child must have one signed by a parent to get in to the fun night.

Hoodie The school play is coming up! Come see ""Hoodie": Students who normally get lost in the shuffle of the school day speak out on their accounts of their daily struggles. The play will be November 1st at 7 pm and November 2nd at 12 pm in the LGI.


Reflections The National PTA Reflections Program is underway! This year's theme is "Look Within." Entry forms may be picked up in the office and must be returned to the office by Friday October 25th. For more details, please see the Reflections tab in the Parker Middle School page of the General McLane website.


Lancer Messenger The Lancer Messenger is running a contest this month. In the library you will see a container of candy. Guess how many pieces and it is all yours! Go to the Lancer Messenger and place your guess in the comments section under the picture of the candy!


JWPMS Sports


Intramural Sports The fall intramural program will begin Tuesday September 17th and will continue until Thursday October 17th. The program will be conducted three days a week from 2:50 to 5:00 pm. Students should be picked up at 5:00 in front of the school, or may ride the activity bus at 5:15. Students may participate in one or more of the following activities:

Tuesday- Soccer
Wednesday- Flag Football
Thursday- Playground Activities
Students must turn a signed parent consent form in to the office or to Mr. Moats before participating in the intramural program. Consent forms are available in the office. See consent form for more details!

GM Winter Indoor Soccer League Sign ups have started for the GM Winter Indoor Soccer League. The season runs from November 9th through the end of February and all games will be played at one of the 2 Erie Premier Sports locations on Saturday or Sunday. All 5th-8th participants will need a uniform shirt, shinguards, cleats and soccer socks. Each team will play 10 games plus additional games if the team makes it into the playoffs. All teams will pay a league fee of $65 for the winter season. Please sign up by Friday October 4th using the following link: Sign Up Link


Cross Country Cross country has its last meet on October 23- Districts @ Union City.


7th and 8th Grade Football The 7th and 8th grade football team will be playing the following games:

OCT. 16 Girard (away)- 4:30 pm
OCT. 23 Harbor Creek (home)- 4:30 pm
OCT. 30 Iroquois (away)- 4:30 pm
Post Season Nov 6 TBA

7th and 8th Grade Girls Basketball 8th grade starts at 4:00pm. 7th grade follows at 5:00pm

GM Boys Basketball Alumni Game Boys Basketball Alumni- join us for a game at GM High School on Saturday November 30th. $30 donation is required to play (t-shirt included with your donation)and registration must be completed by November 1st.

Team Red- Even graduation years (Coached by Brian Schulz and Bob Stauffer)
Team White- Odd graduation years (Coached by Andy Schulz and Roy Stauffer)
Concession Stand Available- Raffles, Contests, Prizes, Etc
